Pierce County Finalizes Primary Election Results

Randy Boss, who finished first in the race, will face second place candidate Andrew Morrison in the November general elections.

Pierce County certified the primary election results on Wednesday.

According to the Pierce County Auditor's website, the final tally of the commissioner race didn't see much change from the .

finished with nearly 40 percent or 2,364 votes, while came in second with 28 percent or 1,693 votes.

Incumbent and Ashlee Lehnert only earned 16 percent of votes each.

Boss and Morrison will go on to face each other in the November general election.

Final voter turnout was 27 percent, or 99,850 of the 367,597 registered voters in the county.
