Wynn Loiland Update: He's Back in Rehab

A South King County firefighter and Gig Harbor resident, Wynn Loiland, was critically injured on Nov. 20 while responding to a car crash.

Wynn Loiland, a 52-year-old South King County firefighter and Gig Harbor resident, was . He suffered life-threatening head and facial injuries, a collapsed lung and broken arm, and was in a coma until just around Christmas, according to the CaringBridge site.

On Jan. 8, Loiland had been recovering from a serious bladder infection. Loiland's wife, Sue, posted the following message on the CaringBridge website Monday night.

Wynn is back in rehab! His infections are gone and he's ready to work again. He still has some lingering agitation that I hope will be curbed by the activity of rehab. Until we are sure the agitation is resolved we have to limit his stimulation and visitors. I'll keep you posted on his progress. Thanks for your continued prayers.
