120 Ave NE in the Totem Lake Area to Close Starting Feb. 27
The road is expected to be closed for 5-8 months for construction.

From the City of Kirkland: On February 27, 2017, 120th Avenue NE in Kirkland will close for five to eight months for construction associated with the Village at Totem Lake project. The closure allows for the installation of new water and sewer utility mains through the roadway and complete reconstruction of the street. The road will be rebuilt into a pedestrian-friendly area with new amenities including wide sidewalks, landscaping, and a cycle track that is separated from the roadway. A rendering of the finished street is available on the City of Kirkland website.
The road will be closed from Totem Lake Way to the northernmost driveway to Trader Joeโs. Drivers will need to use alternate routes to travel through the area. Northbound traffic is being routed along Totem Lake Boulevard. Southbound traffic is being routed west on NE 128th St to 116th Ave NE. All businesses to the north and south of the closure on 120th Ave NE will be open and accessible throughout construction. View a map of the street closure and alternate routes.
