The all-volunteer Assistance League of the Eastside, known for the programs it runs here in the community, is seeking Kirkland homeowners willing to help with its annual Celebrations Holiday Home Tour.
The tour helps raise funds for the league's programs, including , Assault Survivor Kits,ย Starting Over Support and Assistance Leagueย Outreach.
These programs annually provide new clothing to over 2,700 students selected by school personnel in the Lake Washington, Bellevue and Northshore school districts, help to restore dignity to survivors of sexual assault with clothing to replace items retained as evidence by the police and bring comfort to families seeking shelter from domestic violence.
