Capitol Act: Finn Hill Middle School Band Hits the Big Time

From the Lake Washington School District:

On Thursday, March 7, the Finn Hill Middle School Concert Band, directed by Ron Maier, travelled to Olympia to perform in the State Capitol building. The group played a number of traditional concert band selections and finished off their performance with the “unofficial” state song, “Louie Louie.”

The Finn Hill students would like to thank State Senator Rosemary McAuliffe, along with State Representatives Luis Moscoso and Derek Stanford for attending their performance. Pictured behind the students, with Mr. Maier, are Senator McAuliffe and State Representative Derek Stanford.
