Car Stolen In Kingsgate Armed Carjacking: Kirkland Police
Police said armed thieves stole a woman's backpack and car keys during a carjacking early Tuesday in the Kingsgate neighborhood.
KIRKLAND, WA โ Kirkland police are searching for two culprits after a woman said she was threatened with a gun and had her backpack and car stolen early Tuesday in Kingsgate. In a news release, police said the victim reported an armed carjacking shortly before 1:15 a.m. near the 12300 block of Northeast 130th Lane.
The woman told officers that two men in ski masks approached her, and one brandished a gun, before taking her belongings and leaving with her vehicle. Police are searching for a dark gray 2017 Chevy Cruze with Washington license plates reading "CDU1304." The vehicle also has a temporary paper license plate displayed in the rear window.
