City Council Meeting and Playoff Hoops for Juanita Girls and Lake Washington Boys

- At tonightโsย City Councilย meeting, Sharon Rodman will be honored for receiving theย Washington Native Plant Society 2010 Outstanding Professional Award,ย andย the Kirkland Founders Week Proclamation will be discussed. Citizens are welcome to attend and participate in City Council meetings, which begin at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall.
- The 15-9 Lake Washington High School boys' basketball teams takes on Metro champion O'Dea (20-2) tonight in the Sea-King District Tournament, at Chief Sealth High in Seattle, 8:15 p.m. The 18-5 KingCo champion Juanita High Lady Rebels tip off against 22-0 Metro champion Holy Names at 6:30 p.m., also at Sealth.
