City Invites Developers to 'Partnership Forum' Wednesday

City of Kirkland staff will brief participants on permits, on-line permitting, trends and other development issues during the forum Wednesday at City Hall.

The city is inviting potential developers in Kirkland to a โ€œPartnership Forumโ€ Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at City Hall.

The Kirkland Developers Partnership Forum, in the City Council Chambers, will includes presentations on Kirkland development trends, the cityโ€™s development services study, changes to SEPA thresholds in Kirkland, a new Land Use Permit Extension Ordinance, an update about on-line permitting, a one-time fire sprinkler exemption, the cityโ€™s Urban Forest Management Plan and Kirklandโ€™s Green Codes.

City staff will take questions about development regulations and the permitting process after the presentations. Participants are asked to RSVP Rob Jammerman, Development Engineering Manager, at rjammerman@kirklandwa.gov.
