City to Hold Meeting on New Public Safety Building

The informational meeting will take place on Jan. 31 at the current Kirkland Municipal Court.

Kirkland officials and design consultants will hold a project update meeting on the city's new public safety building from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 31.

During the meeting, officials willย provide updates on the building design and permitting process and answer questions. The gathering will be held at the current Kirkland Municipal Court,ย 11515 NE 118th St.

Plans call for the remodeling of the 102,000-square-foot building at 11831 NE 120th Ave. in Totem Lake. The Kirkland Police Department and city jail will move out of their existingย City Hallย location to the new Public Safety Building, which will also house theย Kirkland Municipal Court.
