Driver Injured in School Bus Crash on Woodinville-Duvall Road

A school bus driver suffered minor injuries Monday morning in a crash involving a pickup truck on Woodinville-Duvall Road, Woodinville Fire and Rescue officials said.

No students were on the bus at the time and the driver was en route to pick up students who attend Bellevue Christian School, school officials confirmed to Patch.

Fire and police were called to the crash at approximately 6:30 a.m. at 156 Ave. NE and NE Woodinville Duvall Road. The driver of the pickup was not injured. The school bus driver was evaluated at the scene and transported to EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland for minor injuries, said David Week of Woodinville Fire and Rescue.

Woodinville Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
