ADHD expert Dr. Harlan Gephart to speak at Eastside CHADD Meeting

ADHD expert Dr. Harlan Gephart will speak about "Hope for the Future" at the Eastside CHADD meeting at Evergreen Hospital on Tuesday, November 15 at 7 pm.

Dr. Gephart will talk about steps parents can take to promote a positive future for their ADHD children. Challenging behaviors today may well prove to be assets in adult life - parents can learn how to recognize and promote the positive strengths of their child.

He served as the Medical Director of the Center for Attention Deficit Disorders in Redmond. He has trained many local and national pediatricians to diagnose and treat ADHD. He currently works with other experts in the ADHD field to train physicians at the REACH Institute in New York City. Besides his clinical expertise, Dr. Gephart serves on the editorial board of two medical journals - Contemporary Pediatrics and Journal Watch, Pediatrics, and Adolescent Medicine.
