KIRKLAND, WA — Kirkland detectives are investigating after a resident shot an intruder early Monday morning in the Juanita neighborhood. Police confirmed the shooting just after 1 a.m. as officers arrived on the 13300 block of 115th Avenue Northeast. Detectives said an early investigation revealed the two people knew each other, and all parties were accounted for. The person who was shot was taken to the hospital for treatment.
