Kirkland Albertson's to Close, Says Report

A report in The Olympian says that supermarket chain Albertson's will be closing its , along with stores in Lacey, Sumner, Auburn, Kent and Marysville.

The Olympian report says that the Kirkland store is one of 60 underperforming stores nationwide that Minnesota-based parent company Supervalu Inc. plans to close in an attempt to turn around its struggling business. 

The company will reportedly be closing Save-A-Lots in Tacoma and Port Orchard as well.

The majority of the stores are expected to close before Dec. 1, according to a Supervalu news release.
