Kirkland Artist Christine Sharp to Open Two Seattle Shows
Sharp will show works in her 'Lay of the Land' series at galleries in Pioneer Square and West Seattle.

Kirkland artist Christine Sharp will open two shows in Seattle this week of works in oil and encaustic from her "Lay of the Land" series.
On Thursday, Sharp will open a show at Studio 103 in Pioneer Square (TK Building, 306 S Washington Street), starting at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday at 6 p.m. she will open the second show at Alki Arts Gallery in West Seattle (2820 Alki Avenue SW).

The works in the series translate Sharp's experience of the Northwest into a contemporary vision of deconstructed Northwest icons, using color and tantalizing shapes.
