Kirkland Changes Passport Application Hours, Adds Afternoon Times
The city says it is adding time in the afternoon on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for residents to apply for U.S. passports. But it will no longer take applications on Thursday and Fridays.

KIRKLAND, Wash. โ In response to customer requests to offer passport application assistance before and after work and school hours, the City of Kirkland has changed its passport acceptance hours at City Hall.
Beginning Monday, April 15, 2013, the City will accept passport requests on Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
