Kirkland's 'See Spot Splash': Bring Your Dog To Play Sept. 11

Bring your dog to splash and play this Saturday as the Kirkland community celebrates the end of the season at the pool.

KIRKLAND, WA โ€” Kirkland Parks and Community Services is hosting an event just for your pooch called "See Spot Splash" at Peter Kirk Pool and Park (352 Kirkland Ave.). The fun-filled event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday. Bring your dog to splash and play as the community celebrates the end of the season at the pool.

To take part in the event, pet owners are encouraged to register their pup in advance. There are five sessions to choose from, including sessions for large, small, and mixed-sized dogs. Some spots will be available at the door.

The cost is $10 per dog, with up to two humans per dog on the pool deck. The pool consists of a large pool and a wading pool, with the wading pool recommended for small dogs. Enjoy some fantastic BBQ from HP's Smokehouse BBQ, then visit vendor booths representing dog rescue groups and dog businesses.
