Mother’s Day Deals: Treat Mom At These Eastside Eateries

KING COUNTY, WA — Now that more people are getting the coronavirus vaccine, many restaurants around the Eastside are offering dine-in options for Mother’s Day 2021. Many restaurant chains with Mother’s Day deals are also offering carryout meals.

Restaurants and chefs across King County are readying feasts — for on-site dining or takeout — to make it a memorable day. And whether the moms in your life prefer egg and quiche brunches, steak, lobster, BBQ, pasta dishes, Latin-inspired fare or sweet treats, Patch has you covered.

Here are a few local eateries to check out:

• Sammamish Cafe & Spirits, located at 22850 Northeast 8th Street in Sammamish, is open from brunch and lunch from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant maintains a waitlist for in-person dining and offers both delivery and takeout options.
• The Issaquah JaK's Grill location serves up brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and reopens for dinner at 4 p.m. In-person dining reservations are available via OpenTable and takeout orders can be placed via Toast.
• Pomegranate Bistro, located at 18005 Northeast Street in Redmond, offers a weekend brunch menu between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are available online, including for private dining rooms.
• Matts' Rotisserie & Oyster Lounge, located at 7325 166th Avenue Northeast, offers a special Mother's Day brunch buffet, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m .and reservations are open for dinner, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Book a spot via OpenTable or by calling 425-376-0909.
• Daniel's Broiler, located at Bellevue Place, will offer a special Mother's Day menu on May 9, between noon and 9 p.m. Reservations are available online via OpenTable.
• 13 Coins, located inside Hyatt Regency Bellevue, has a few Mother's Day specials in the works and will be open between 8 a.m and 10 p.m. on May 9. The restaurant also offers takeout and delivery options.
• Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar, located at 205 108th Avenue Northeast in Bellevue, will be open for seafood aficionados between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. on May 9. Reservations are available via OpenTable or email.
• Anthony's Homeport, located at 135 Lake Street South in Kirkland, will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 9. Reservations are open for in-person dining, and the restaurant offers to-go orders and curbside pickup.
• Hearth, located at 220 Kirkland Avenue, offers a Sunday brunch menu from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations can be made via OpenTable.
• Water's Table, located on the lakefront at 1053 Lake Washington Boulevard North in Renton, offers a special Mother's Day brunch menu and also has reservations available for dinner. Check for availability on May 9 via OpenTable.
• Melrose Grill, located at 819 Houser Way South in Renton, is open for limited indoor dining and pickup orders on Mother's Day, between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Check out the menu and learn more about booking a spot on the restaurant's website.

Here are a bunch of options on the menu from some national favorites:

Baskin-Robbins: For your sweet mom, how about a Floral Bouquet Cake? Cake and ice cream flavors can be selected, and it's topped with an ice cream cone bouquet of pastel frosting flowers. Order online here or in-person. Locations.

Black Angus Steakhouse: Restaurants will open early — 11 a.m. — on Mother's Day with a limited-time Prime Rib and Lobster Tail special. Reservations are advised. For those celebrating at home, a Prime Rib Family Meal To-Go ($99) also is available. Locations.

Capital Grille: A heat-and-serve, three-course takeout dinner is offered for pre-order and May 8-9 pickup. Options include: beef tenderloin; lobster tails; salad; sides; and dessert. Brunch (with lobster frittata, New York strip steak & eggs, and filet) and dinner also will be served at the restaurant on Mother's Day. Bookings.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: Just in time for Mother's Day for BBQ-lovin' mamas, the chain is launching its new summer menu with Sweet King's Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sandwich with Dr Pepper Barbecue Sauce and Texas Sweet Corn. Or keep meal prep easy with to-go family and picnic packs. Locations.

Eureka!: A Mother's Day, prix fixe menu runs May 7-10 ($30) with choice of starter, entree of either Fresno Fig Burger, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Cowboy Burger, Veggie Beet Burger or Cobb Salad, paired with "Mommy's On A Break" cocktail. Locations.

Fogo de Chao: A Mother's Day To-Go Package, with everything needed for at-home, Brazilian-inspired celebration, can be ordered by May 8 for pickup Sunday, May 9, or Monday, May 10. Gift card deals also running through June 20: Receive a $25 bonus e-card with every $125 gift card purchase. Locations.

Olive Garden: Family Bundles, which serve four to six or up to 12, offer selections including spaghetti, lasagna, chicken or shrimp scampi, plus options for breadsticks, salad or soup. Order in advance for curbside pickup. Some locales open for dine-in. Locations.

PF Chang’s: Celebrate Mom with a pre fixe four-course menu ($50) that includes a glass of wine. Selections include: Chang's Lettuce Wraps; Dynamite Shrimp; soup; Miso Glazed Salmon; Mongolian Beef; Peking Duck; and desserts of cheesecake or The Great Wall of Chocolate. Bundle to-go meals also offered, as well as gift card deals. Locations.

Red Lobster: Family takeout menus start at $7.99 per person, or take advantage of a gift card deal running through the end of June: For every $50 spent on gift cards purchased in restaurant or online, guests receive a coupon for $10 off orders of $30 or more during July and August. Among new menu adds: Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich; Crispy Cod Sandwich (Codzilla); Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger; and Baja Shrimp and Sesame-Soy Salmon bowls. Locations.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Pre-order an at-home Mother's Day feast for four ($180) that includes starter, beef tenderloin, sides and cheesecake. Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance of pickup. In-restaurant dining is also offered. Locations.
