New Brewery Plans to Open in Redmond Early Next Year

Redmond's beer scene is about to get a bit more competitive with Hi-Fi Brewing preparing to open shop sometime in early 2013, the Washington Beer Blog reports.

Redmond is already home to two very successful brewing operations, Black Raven and Mac & Jack's. Hi-Fi will be located in an office park just a few doors down from Black Raven at 14950 NE 95th St.

Co-founder Ryan McGee told the beer blog that his team plans to open a 15-barrel brewery and a taproom that will sell pints and fill growlers. McGee declined to offer much information on the beer selection but said a lager and session will be part of the regular lineup.

McGee said his team just secured possession of the facility this week, so their work on the space is just getting started. Check out the post on Washington Beer Blog for more details about Hi-Fi.
