The once-popular hangout for mothers and little ones at 17802 134th Ave NEย will become The Collective on Tap with 20 local beers and food described as "savory grazers."

Currently on their Facebook page, they've been asking for input to name deep dish cookies. They're also touting their bar and "ultra comfortable Paisley print booths."

It will also be the only tavern to offer beer from theย Dirty Bucketย Brewing Company. Stemlau said a soft opening will come in the next few weeks with a grand opening sometime in January.

The Tot Spot closed its doors in August after Stremlau decided she wanted to move on to a new phase in her life. She and business partner Jan Newton have been working on the renovation.ย

"There are so many new breweries coming about," Stremlau said previously, adding that she wants to help the local beer scene gain the attention it deserves.

"I can't wait," she said.
