Cogir of Kirkland held ‘Taste of Cogir’ on May 2 with a spotlight on the cuisine at the boutique-sized assisted living community. Having recently undergone a full remodel, the property is located just two blocks from the waterfront, and boasts lake and city skyline views.

Guests were treated to fresh takes on classics, such as Pickled Peach Mozzarella & Prosciutto Skewers and Strawberry Bruschetta prepared by Executive Chef Ruben Guerrero. A native of Mexico, Chef Ruben was inspired by the rich flavors and diverse ingredients of his homeland at an early age and shares his wealth of culinary knowledge and appreciation for quality ingredients with all who taste his delightful cuisine.

Attendees were able to tour the community, meet some of the staff and discover more about lifestyle and personalized care programs. The team at Cogir of Kirkland was excited to get to know their neighbors and are looking forward to becoming an integral part of the community.
