Police Find Murder Suspect's Bunker Near Rattlesnake Ridge
The Seattle Times reports that police have been searching the bunker where Peter A. Keller likely has been hiding out, but he was not there.
King County and Seattle Police SWAT teams found a bunker early Friday morning thought to be used by murder suspect Peter Keller on a hillside just southwest of the trailhead to the Rattlesnake Ridge Trail near North Bend, the Seattle Times reports. Keller was not located, however.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Keller, who has been at large since his wife and daughter, Lynnettee and Kaylene Keller, .
Police have been searching for Keller since, asking the public to come forward with any information they may have about at nearby hiking spots. According to the King County Sheriff's Office, tips from local hikers who had seen the truck near the trailhead a number of times, along with photos of the bunker found at the crime scene, led them to search the area.
Keller has been described as a survivalist and a loner, and had apparently been stockpiling supplies and money before the crimes. He has been charged with first degree murder and .
