Report: Go Daddy Searching for New Office on the Eastside
GeekWire reports the Arizona-based tech company has already set up a temporary outpost near Kirkland's Carillon Point.

Web-domain giantย Go Daddyย has set up a temporary outpost in Kirkland nearย Carillon Point and plans to eventually establish a permanent office in Kirkland or Bellevue, local tech blog GeekWire reported Thursday.
GeekWire says the effort is part of an extensive expansion on the part of the Arizona-based company, which hasย 11 million customers and manages more than 55 million domain names.
GeekWire goes on to report that Go Daddy has already hired several Microsoft veteransโincluding new CEO Blake Irvingโand is looking to recruit more local talent.

Irving said the goal of expanding to Seattle isnโt specifically to raid Microsoft for talent. Instead, GoDaddy is looking to establish itself in the countryโs strongest technology hubs. The company asked itself, โWhere are we best able to get talent, and where does our story resonate the most?โ he said. โItโs the Bay Area and itโs Seattle.โ
