Robin Campbell, Incumbent Commissioner for EvergreenHealth, Seeks to Be Retained on November 4
Appointed to serve and now seeking voter support to continue ensuring quality care and strong community health leadership

I believe that everyone deserves access to exceptional medical care. Thatโs why Iโm running to continue serving on the Board of Commissioners that governs EvergreenHealth and serves the communities of Bothell, Duvall, Kenmore, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, and Woodinville.
In early 2024, I was honored to be appointed to Position #5 on the Board. Now, Iโm seeking your vote to continue representing you in this important work.
Before retiring, my career was in the biotechnology industry, leading efforts to discover and develop new treatments for cancer and respiratory disease. During the past 25 years, I have used this progressive experience to serve on public and private company boards, developing a strong foundation in governance, strategy, and fiscal responsibility. Iโve learned how to assure that money is spent wisely.

I became acquainted with EvergreenHealth quite suddenly. My wife and I moved to the Eastside in November 2020 to be closer to our daughter and only grandchild. Just a month later, on Christmas night, my wife had a serious fall at home. The EMTs quickly transported her to EvergreenHealth Kirkland. Because of COVID restrictions, I couldnโt accompany herโbut the doctors and nurses kept me informed every step of the way. She had surgery the next day and made a full recovery. Her care was outstanding, and I realized just how fortunate we are to have a world-class facility in our community.
Inspired by that experience and my long-standing interest in healthcare delivery, I joined EvergreenHealthโs Community Advisory Board in 2023. This unique group gives our residents a voice in shaping healthcare servicesโa testament to EvergreenHealthโs commitment to transparency and community partnership.

When an opening on the Board of Commissioners became available, I stepped forwardโand was honored to be appointed. Beyond my commitment to general Board duties, I currently serve on the Finance, Governance, Quality and Safety, and Levy Committees. To better represent you, Iโve completed the Washington State Hospital Associationโs Health Care Governance Certification.
Quality healthcare is fundamental to a thriving community, and I understand how complexโand at times overwhelmingโhealthcare can be. As your Commissioner, Iโm focused on expanding access, improving outcomes, and ensuring your taxpayer dollars are used wisely. I support data-driven and patient-focused strategic decisions that strengthen our hospital and prepare it to meet the evolving needs of our growing, diverse community.
Outside my role on the Board, Iโm proud to volunteer with SCORE, offering free mentoring to small business owners. Iโm also a volunteer Ambassador at the Woodland Park Zoo.
EvergreenHealth is ranked among the Top 50 hospitals in the nation. This excellence is no accidentโitโs the result of dedicated professionals and a community that cares. Iโll continue to support policies that foster a culture of compassion, accountability, and innovation.
It would be an honor to earn your vote. Together, we can ensure EvergreenHealth continues to deliver the world-class care our community needs, expects, and deserves.
