Sign Up For Kirkland's Inaugural Polar Bear Plunge
Tickets are still available for the "January Jump!" Polar Bear Plunge, which is scheduled for Jan. 22 at Houghton Beach Park.

KIRKLAND, WA โ Plenty of spots are still available for Kirkland's first official polar bear plunge event, offering residents a chance to welcome the new year in a way they will not soon forget.
Three plunges are slated for Saturday, Jan. 22, at Houghton Beach Park, with the first tailored for those 16 and older, followed by two more for families and participants 5 and older. Advance registration is $15 per person, which includes an event t-shirt. Day-of registration is also available for $10, with no t-shirt included.
For those who want to participate without getting wet, a virtual option is also available for $10.

Kirkland's 'January Jump!' Polar Bear Plunge

On top of the plunge, event sponsor Sasquatch Strength will be on hand to host warm-up activities, and several vendors will be on-site serving up free coffee, hot cocoa and clam chowder.
