Students at Evergreen Academy Montessori Preschool Celebrate Earth Day
Students planted flowers in their schoolyard and learned about recycling and composting during a presentation by the City of Kirkland
Students at Evergreen Academy Montessori Preschool in Kirkland celebrated Earth Day by learning about recycling and composting during a presentation from the City of Kirkland. Students also planted flowers and strawberries in the schoolโs new garden beds to help the local population of bees and other pollinators.
Leading up to Earth Day, students learned how they can play a part in protecting the environment, as well as the important role that plants and pollinators play in the ecosystem. Evergreen Academy Montessori teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
