Totem Lake Boulevard Closure Begins Thursday Night
A stretch of Totem Lake Boulevard will be closed from Thursday night to Friday morning as crews continue work on a new pedestrian bridge.

KIRKLAND, WA โ Totem Lake Boulevard is scheduled for a second overnight closure to allow crews to install the second half of a new bridge span that will soon serve cyclists and pedestrians along the Cross Kirkland Corridor.
Last week, crews successfully put the first half of the span in place over Northeast 124th Street and Totem Lake Boulevard, and the second closure will begin at 10 p.m. Thursday.
According to the city, the work should be wrapped up and the road reopened by 5 a.m. Friday, in time for the morning commute.

Once complete the $22.4 million Totem Lake Connector will link the two ends of the 5.75-mile trail system, allowing residents to safely bypass two busy intersections. The project is part of the city's broader plan to improve active transportation infrastructure and better serve Kirkland's growing urban center.
