Totem Lake's Hanoon Restaurant Hosts Grand Opening Weekend

KIRKLAND, WA — Totem Lake's newest restaurant will celebrate its grand opening this weekend, inviting neighbors down to enjoy live music, coffee, pastries, and other offerings from its Levantine-inspired menu.

Hanoon is the newest concept from Seattle's Mama Restaurant Group, which includes popular Emerald City eateries like Mamnoon and Manna, and is the first to open on the Eastside. Designed to serve two functions, Hanoon is billed as an "airy café" for breakfast and lunch that transforms into an elegant but casual dinner spot by night.

Like its sister restaurants, Hanoon's menus feature Lebanese street food favorites like chicken shawarma and falafel, along with fresh hummus, muhammara, and baba ganoush. Evening cocktails include a blackberry-forward old fashioned, and other custom creations built on vodka, mezcal, tequila, rum and gin.

Starting this weekend, Hanoon will also host a weekly Sunday brunch, with a special menu from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and bottomless mimosas.

The three-day grand opening event kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday, with live music provided by House of Tarab. Diners can find Hanoon at The Village at Totem Lake, next to the Sephora and Cinemark movie theater.

The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
