Two Small Earthquakes Reported in King County—Did You Feel Them?

King County experienced two small earthquakes early Friday morning, seismologists at the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network said.

The first quake was at 6:56 a.m. and centered in Lake City. It measured 2.6 on the Richter scale and was 19.3 miles deep. 

A second earthquake took place at 7:34 a.m. and was centered just west of Lake Marcel between Carnation and Duvall. It was 16.5 miles deep.
