DISCUSS: Former Forza Location Still Vacant. Why? What Can Go There?
Following the previous tenant's departure, the space inside the 3,540-square-foot building remains vacant.

Two years after the ugly departure of its previous tenant, the space on a tight corner of one of Lakewood's busiest roads remains vacant.
A "For Lease" sign hangs from the location of the former Forza at 8813 Edgewater Dr. SW., something that's been there since 2011.
According to Pierce County records, the property belongs to TD Development LLC.

I posted an item on Lakewood-JBLM Patch's Facebook page Thursday asking what users thought. Here's what some of them offered:
One user wrote: "It's such a blind spot for drivers when you curve right on Steilacoom Blvd."
Wrote another user: "Access is one thing but landlord also is asking too much in rent."
Another user offered: "It (would) make a good medical marijuana dispensary or legal WA state pot shop."

So we want to hear what you think, Lakewood-JBLM Patch users. Why do you think this spot has remained vacant? What do you think can succeed in that location?
There's nothing scientific about this, nor do our opinions have any bearing on what will eventually go in these locations. But there's nothing wrong with dreaming, right?
Let's talk about it in the comments section below.
