DENVER-Lakewood's Jermaine Kearse size and jumping ability might get him a spot on the Seattle Seahawks roster this season.
The Lakes High product and unrestricted free agent from the University of Washington - who's fighting to make his way onto the Seahawks' receiver corps - hauled in a beautifully thrown, 37-yard pass down the middle of the field from Russell Wilson at the 5:38 mark in the fourth quarter Saturday in Denver.

The Seahawks beat the Broncos, 30-10, which in preseason doesn't mean all that much. More importantly for Kearse, Coach Pete Carroll is seeing how the former Lancer can be a threat this season.
