The small chapel near the gates of Joint Base Lewis-McChord says it will offer free services during the first week the law goes into effect.

 

In the wake of Washington voters pending approval of gay marriage, a Lakewood wedding chapel says it will offere free same-sex ceremonies the first week the law goes into effect in December.

Shotgun Chapel - which opened over the summer in Tillicum despite an already robust business in Seattle - says it wants to celebrate the passage of which Washington voters approved Tuesday:

According to the Approve Referendum 74 Facebook page, same-sex marriages could begin as early as Dec. 9.
