So today's the big day.

I'm going to head off to the park, where I'll be giving out free stuff and signing people up for our free e-mail newsletter.

Obviously, I'm going to be busy while everyone else is enjoying the festival. So here's a thought:

Post your pictures of this weekend's festival in the media gallery by clicking the "Upload Photos and Videos" button. I will use the best pictures to banner the Lakewood Patch Facebook page, which if you haven't "Liked" yet feel free to do so. (We do lots of cool stuff on our page)

Don’t miss at Fort Steilacoom Park on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is FREE and there are tons of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Patch will be there handing out awesome gear (if we do so say so ourselves) to people who sign up for our free newsletter.

Festivities on Saturday begin at 11 a.m., and include a showing of Back to the Future starring Michael J. Fox on a 30-foot-by-40-foot big screen presented by xfinity, and don’t forget to check out the DeLorean at the Partners for Parks Car Show!

Other weekend activities include live music on two stages, over 150 food, arts and craft and service vendors, Army Strong Fitness Expo, a Kidz Zone inflatable area, petting zoo, pony rides, a sprint Triathlon and FREE 5K, and much more!
