PHOTOS: New Lakewood Mother Picks Up Car She Won In Contest

Checklist for a new mother:

Diapers? Check.

Baby food? Check.

Brand new car that you won in a national contest? Check.

That's right, a Lakewood mother who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl is also the owner of a 2013 Chevy Sonic.

Adriana Bettancourt signed up for State Farm Insurance's Celebrate My Drive contest while walking Westfield Southcenter Mall last month, which is what her doctor said she should be doing.

She went to the mall to have a key chain made for her soon-to-be daughter and registered for a brand new Chevy Sonic.

Today, she picked up her new car. She was one of 14 people across the country to win.

She went to Chevrolet of Puyallup and got the keys, accompanied by Izabella, her baby, and Izabella's dad, Marty.

Oh yeah, the good news didn't stop there for the couple. While they were in the car being shown all the features, Marty got a call from an employer he had interviewed with recently.

They offered him a job.

Wow, sounds like this young family has gotten off to a good start. Congrats Adriana, Marty and Izabella!
