City Hall Gets Social: Facebook, Twitter Pages Launch July 8
The City of Mercer Island's new communications team is trying to reach more citizens through using two of the most popular online social media platforms.

The following is a press release from the City of Mercer Island:
The City of Mercer Island and the Mercer Island Emergency Preparedness Program are joining the Social Media world.
Both offices will be going live on Facebook, effective July 8, 2013. The MI Emergency Preparedness Program will be going live on Twitter as well on the same day.
