Island parents are invited to attend any of the following Café Conversations on pre-teen and teen drug and alcohol prevention:
- Parents of high school aged students are welcome to attend the Cafe Conversation at CREST Learning Center on Thursday, February 17 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
- Parents of middle school aged students are invited to attend the Café Conversation February 24 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Islander Middle School library.
- Parents of elementary school aged students from all three public elementary schools on the Island are invited to join CTC for a Café Conversation at Lakeridge Elementary School on March 15th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm (placement on city calendar in process).
All Café Conversations will include drug and alcohol prevention information and tips for parents on protecting their children from the harm that can come from underage substance use.
