Olympic Spirit Inspires Mercer Mile Fun Run
Mercer Island's inaugural Summer Celebration 1-mile fun run, inspired by the London 2012 Summer Olympics, will start at 9:30 a.m. on July 14 in Mercerdale Park.

Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite athlete and join the fun run on Saturday, July 14th for a race start time of 9:30 a.m.
Racers must complete the one-mile race by 9:45 a.m. in time for the Parade to begin. The $10 registration fee will support future Parks and Recreation Special Events. The first 100 finishers will receive medals, and the top three males and females will get a bigger medal. More details on the event are available at the city's Summer Celebration homepage.
