Police Blotter: 11/4-11/10
Car prowls continue on First Hill and at Islander Stadium during the game, and a local man is arrested after he's found hiding under a bed.

Thursday, Nov. 4
(Fraud) Two residents called police from Fernbrook Drive and East Mercer Way at 10:40 a.m. to report that an 28-year-old relative visiting them had fraudulently registered a debit card to access money from their bank account and used their credit card without their knowledge. They also reported a number of valuables missing from their residence and suspected the young man was also responsible.
(Missing Person) A missing person report was filed by a resident from a home on Boulevard Place and West Mercer Way at 10:50 a.m. She said her mentally ill brother has been missing and out of contact since 2001. She said she wanted to get his name in the missing persons system in case something happens to him.

Friday, Nov. 5
(DUI) Police stopped a Federal Way motorist on SE 24th Street near 64th Avenue at 3:20 a.m. for driving erratically and suspected he was intoxicated. The 24-year-old suspect refused to perform a sobriety test and was arrested. His blood-alcohol was later measured at over twice the legal limit using a breathalyzer.

(Traffic Accident) A student was struck by an eastbound Mercedes-Benz 4-door sedan at 7:51 a.m. as she tried to cross S.E. 42nd Street near 91st Avenue S.E. The 14-year-old's left foot was dragged under the vehicle—but not run over—for a short distance, causing abrasions to her left foot and pain in her ankle and knee. A friend reportedly waved her to cross without using a crosswalk, but didn't see the approaching car.
(Vehicle Theft) Several local residents reported belongings taken from their vehicles parked at during the football game at Islander Stadium against Eastside Catholic. One resident reported a black Bonnie Doone purse and personal checks stolen from her unlocked Ford Expedition, parked in the high school parking lot. Another woman reported her Audi Q7 rear passenger side window was shattered and a purse containing credit cards and other belongings was taken, and a third woman's Acura MDX passenger side window was shattered and a purse continuing house keys, cash, credit cards and an iPhone were taken.
Saturday, Nov. 6
(Theft) Employees at reported the theft of four cartons of Marlboro cigarettes at 11:40 a.m., valued at $280. The suspect remains unknown and the case is under investigation.
(Controlled Substance) A police patrol stopped a 1992 Toyota Corolla driven by a 17-year-old female resident on S.E. 28th Street and 78th Avenue S.E. at 6:29 p.m. for not reporting the purchase of the vehicle 45 days after the sale. Police detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and the driver allowed the vehicle to be searched, where they dissevered a pipe inside a purse in the passenger area of the car. The two passengers, both 16-year-old residents, admitted they shoved a pipe into the purse and were arrested on misdemeanor marijuana possession.
Saturday, Nov. 7
(Hit and Run) A resident of a home on 80th Avenue S.E. and S.E. 65th Street reported damage to his property occurring between 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. A vehicle had allegedly uprooted a tree, knocked down a fence, and damaged several bushes and his lawn. Several city traffic bollards were also damaged and knocked down.
Monday, Nov. 8
(Court Order Violation) Police investigating a disturbance at a home on Shorewood Drive and West Shorewood Drive at 2:50 a.m. arrested a 22-year-old resident for violating a no-contact order. Recognizing the female resident from an assault call several months ago, officers conducted a search of the home and located the suspect hiding under a bed in the master bedroom. The man was taken to the Issaquah Jail for violating the court order.
(Vehicle Theft) Several residents living in the neighborhood reported numerous belongings taken from their vehicles overnight. A home at 72nd Avenue and S.E, Allen Street reported several items stolen sometime overnight from his unlocked Ford Explorer truck outside. Items stolen include an iPod, a Zune mp3-player, a car stereo and a pair of prescription eyeglasses. A screwdriver left at the scene was taken into evidence. Further north, on S.E. 32nd Street at 72nd Avenue S.E., two vehicles were broken into by smashing a window or by opening an unlocked trunk. A Mac Book Pro was stolen from a Ford Escape, while a subwoofer speaker system was taken from a Chevrolet El Camino.
Tuesday, Nov. 9
(Traffic Violations) A Lynnwood man driving a 1990 Ford Ranger pickup truck was stopped on S.E. 27th Street and 80th Avenue on a suspended license. Police discovered the man was not the owner of the vehicle, but he too had his license revoked on related traffic violations. He was arrested and the vehicle was later towed and impounded.
