Police Find Murder Suspect's Bunker Near Rattlesnake Ridge

Peter A. Keller, of North Bend, WA, has been at large since last weekend when his wife and daughter were found dead in the family's home.

SWAT team officers found a bunker thought to be used by accused murderer Peter Keller early Friday morning, April 27, on a hillside just southwest of the trailhead to the Rattlesnake Ridge Trail near North Bend, the Seattle Times reports. He was not located, however.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Keller, who has been at large since his wife and daughter, Lynnettee and Kaylene Keller, .

Police have been searching for Keller since, asking the public to come forward with any information they may have about at nearby hiking spots. According to the Times, it was in part tips from local hikers who had seen the truck near the trailhead a number of times that led them to search the area.

Keller has been described as a survivalist and a loner, and had apparently been stockpiling supplies and money before the crimes. He has been charged with first degree murder and .
