TACOMA, WA — One man has died and another is behind bars after a fight in Central Tacoma late Monday night.

According to Tacoma Police, at around 9:30 p.m. officers were called to reports of two men fighting outside a store at the 1900 block of S. Union Avenue, not far from Allenmore Golf Course.

When police arrived, just one man remained on scene: a 36-year-old man suffering from severe stab wounds. Tacoma PD says officers tried to perform lifesaving CPR on the victim, but he was pronounced dead a short time later, when Tacoma Fire medics arrived.
