PARKLAND, WA — A Parkland man has died, and his wife has been booked into the Pierce County Jail and accused of his murder.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department says their dispatchers received a 911 call just before 12:30 a.m. Friday, warning them there had been a shooting in a home near the intersection of 129th St S and Pacific Avenue in Parkland. When they arrived, they ordered everyone inside to evacuate the home.

At that point they took a suspect, a 32-year-old woman, into custody. While searching the home afterwards, they found the woman's husband, 33, dead in the bathroom. He had suffered several gunshot wounds and a discarded gun was found near his body.
