Firefighters Respond To Spanaway House Fire

Graham, Orting Valley and South Pierce firefighters have all been called to a house engulfed in flame on 276th St E.

PUYALLUP, WA — Firefighters are battling a house fire in southern Spanaway.

Graham Fire & Rescue says both their firefighters, and crews from Orting Valley and South Pierce have all been called to a home on fire in the 4000 block of 276th St E.

Several hours after the first call came out firefighters issued an update on the situation along with dramatic footage of the home engulfed in flames. Investigators say the home's owners were not there when the fire sparked up and are unharmed, but unfortunately their dog has not been accounted for and is presumed dead.

Otherwise, there have been no reports of injuries and the fire is contained. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
