Gas Line Break In South Puyallup Forces Intersection Closure
Puyallup police say there is no danger to the public, but they have closed nearby roads while the line is fixed.
PUYALLUP, WA — A damaged gas line forced Puyallup police to close off an intersection near Pierce College Tuesday afternoon.
Police first reported the closure around 4:30 p.m. and confirming that they had shut down the intersection of 39th Ave SE and 10th St SE. While crews attempt to repair the damages, residents are advised to avoid the area and use detours if possible.
Officers stress that there is no current danger to the public, but that they need everyone away while the damages are repaired.
