Pierce County Deputies Search For Edgewood Burglary Suspect

The sheriff's department has released security footage of the suspect in the hopes that someone may recognize him.

EDGEWOOD, WA — The Pierce County Sheriff's Department has released new security footage of an Edgewood burglary that took place last Friday, in the hopes that someone may recognize the suspect.

Deputies say the footage was taken from a barn on Sumner Heights Dr. E. in Edgewood. Sometime between 1:40 and 2:30 a.m. the suspect entered the property and was captured in the video below.

Investigators say that, after coming into the property the man disabled several floodlights before breaking into a shed. He then stole several tools, including a chop saw, and leaf blower, before taking off.

Deputies say anyone who recognizes the suspect in the security video should give them a private message, or call the Pierce County Sheriff's Department's Proactive Property Crime Unit at (253) 798-3278.
