PIERCE COUNTY, WA — The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department have announced another free pop-up vaccine clinic.
It's the second clinic they've announced this week following an earlier clinic in DuPont. The upcoming clinic will be in Tacoma this Sunday.

But, in making these clinics easier to sign up for, slots are filling up even faster. Wednesday's registration for the DuPont Clinic filled up in just 9 minutes, so anyone trying to get a shot at this Tacoma clinic will need to be quick.
As with other TPCHD vaccination clinics, to qualify for a shot you should work or live in Pierce County. Applicants must also be in Phases 1A or 1B1 of the state's vaccination plan.

Registration for the event opens at noon Tuesday. When it opens, a link to apply will be posted on the health department's website at http://tpchd.org/vaxtothefuture. The health department says if you are on the website at 9 and don't immediately see a link, try to refresh the page.
TPCHD says they're hoping to allow residents without internet access to register by phone in the near future. They're also aware that some don't have transportation and can't reach these clinics, and have plans to address that issue soon.
