Puyallup Asks Residents To Weigh In On Housing Issues
The city hopes to have a new Housing Action Plan ready by mid-2021
PUYALLUP, WA — The City of Puyallup is developing a new plan that will shape how the city meets its housing needs, but before it's finished they want the public to weigh in.
Puyallup's Housing Action Plan, or HAP, is a policy document that will identify what the city needs to do to meet the growing demand for new housing, and how community members want those needs to be met.
The goal is to have the HAP finished by mid-2021. When it is done, it should:

Before they finish their plan though, the city wants the public to give their opinions. They're collecting responses through this Puyallup Housing Action Plan Community Survey. The survey can be taken in Spanish. The city has also created an idea wall, where residents can post ideas publicly for discussion.
