Puyallup Man Accused Of Shooting 20-Year-Old Son
The son is in stable condition and is expected to recover.

PUYALLUP, WA — A 56-year-old Puyallup man is accused of shooting his son late Monday night.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, deputies were first alerted to the shooting around 7:45 p.m. when the 20-year-old son showed up at the Franciscan Prompt Care on Canyon Road. He was suffering from a gunshot wound and needed to be rushed to the hospital.
Deputies say they were able to quickly interview the man, who told them that he had been shot by his father earlier in the evening.

The sheriff's office then went to the victim's home in the 17900 block of 73rd Ave E.
Deputies say they then called the victim's father, who agreed to leave the home and was taken into custody. While searching the home, investigators say they found the telltale signs of a shooting scene. The sheriff's department says they will continue to search the area for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, the suspect has been booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of assault in the first degree. His son is in stable condition and is expected to recover.
