Search For Missing UW Professor At Mount Rainier National Park
Sam Dubal went missing while hiking the Mother Mountain Loop on Friday, now the park service is asking any other hikers if they saw him.

SEATTLE — The National Park Service is hoping someone saw Sam Dubal, a University of Washington professor and hiker who went missing last weekend while visiting Mount Rainier National Park.
Dubal, 33, was supposed to be hiking the Mother Mountain Loop off of the Mowich Lake trailhead on Friday, and was due to be out Saturday, but never returned. Now, the NPS is asking other hikers if they may have seen Dubal while out on the trail last weekend.

Dubal is an assistant professor of anthropology at the University of Washington, and just joined the department in June, according to The Seattle Times. He is described as being 5'9" tall, roughly 155 pounds with black hair and a short black beard. He may have been wearing a blue jacket while out hiking.
