Rotary Club of Redmond recently named two students Student of the Month.
Jasmyne Keimig was honored as Senior Student of the Month, while Bailey Dumire received the Junior Student of the Month award for May. Club President Steve Bozick made the presentations to the two students. Student of the Month is just one of several ways that Redmond Rotary supports vocational development of young people.

The rotary selection committee noted that Senior Jasmyne Keimig is a very outgoing and active student. She is co-president of the film club at Redmond High School and is active in track. She is president of YABA, a youth advocacy group and works to provide dinners to homeless people and battered women. She is an honors student and plans to major in political science and economics at Wellesley College. Her dream job is to be White House Chief of Staff.
The junior student of the month, Bailey Dumire, is a member of the National Honor Society and has been active with the Redmond Youth Partnership Advisory Committee. She has eclectic interests that include playing piano, running, traveling and writing and has a love of classical British literature. She volunteers with an elementary school to support its community events and as a tutor. She is considering colleges locally, nationally and internationally. She is exploring a number of careers, including writing and medicine.
