
senior Jihoon Lee is one of two students in Washington State to receive a 2011 Siemens Award for their participation in the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) program and achievement in science and math.
The winners both received a $2,000 college scholarship.
“These students lead the nation in performance on Advanced Placement math and science courses and we are proud to recognize them for their academic excellence,” Jeniffer Harper‐Taylor, president of the Siemens Foundation, said in a news release.
