Rotary Recognizes November Students of the Month

The Rotary Club of Redmond has named two students its Students of the Month for November.

Tara Balakrishnan was named Senior Student of the Month, and Nikki Russo was named Junior Student of the Month.

Balakrishnan participates in a wide range of activities, including robotics club, digital 3D modeling and animation, and classical Indian dance. She also started a non-profit that helps teach impoverished children in Indian. Balakrishnan plans to attend college and study computer science or engineering.

Russo's activities include theater, dance and choir, as well as a demonstrated interest in international relations and environmental science. She has volunteered as a tutor with .
